Hello everyone, I am currently a first-grade teacher. I wanted to be a teacher since I was in middle school. After taking Early Childhood and Education class in High School I knew that being a teacher was my dream. I spent summer teaching my 2-year-old cousin his alphabet, numbers, colors and even animals. But after hard work and long nights of studying, I graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a content major in Language Arts. At Western, I got an opportunity to be part of TRiO FESP and they helped me to follow my dream. So now I am teaching in the East Coast.
